I went on a Margaery/Sansa fic binge and this was one of my favorites and I had one of those very rare “felt like really putting effort into coloring” moments.

I admit, I know very little about Pippi Longstocking. I think the most I’ve been exposed to it was this one episode of Gilmore Girls where Lorelei and Rory take Max and Dean (I think?) to go see a Pippi movie and we get some glimpses of the movie. I thought it was awesome that she carried a horse, and that about sums it up.
But your fic was very nice and I enjoyed it very much, and my heart goes out to rarepairs in rare fandoms (I feel your hurt) so I hope this helps!
Sorry for the inaccuracies in their appearances. As I said, I know very little about this series. I looked some stuff up but it didn’t help much. In the images I found of Annika she was a blonde, but the fic says she’s brunette, so I just went with that. ^^; Enjoy!
